We are excited to be recruiting for a Hotel Laundry Attendant at our Wyndham Garden Winnipeg Airport Location.

This is a part time position, and the hours will be _
evenings and weekends_
, depending on hotel business levels.


Wyndham Garden is a full-service hotel located on the first Urban Reserve in Winnipeg; the Long Plain Madison Reserve located on Treaty 1 territory.

The hotel is owned by Long Plain First Nation and will be operated by Winnipeg based Sparrow Hotels.

The hotel features 132 guest rooms, pool, waterslide, fitness centre, 5800 square feet of flexible meeting space, dining room, café, and 230 parking stalls.


Laundry Attendants are responsible for the cleaning and quality of all of the guest room linens and towels, as well as general cleaning and maintenance of the laundry room.


Duties:


  • Clean and care for all guest room linens and towels
  • General cleaning and maintenance of the laundry room
  • Preparation of supplies for daily assignments.
  • Proper maintenance of equipment, proper care and storage of supplies.
  • Cleaning of assigned areas to the standard of training.
  • Assisting other team members until all duties are complete.

  • Direct Hotel Laundry experience

  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members
  • Should be able to work in a team environment and individually
