Production Control Clerk - Paris, Canada - Tigercat Industries Inc.

Day shift: 5 x 8 hour shifts; Monday to Friday - Train in Paris, once completed move to Brantford
Responsibilities may include:
- Complete front desk administration; greeting customers, guests, and employees
- Process time and attendance transactions as well as error processing
- Create and manage production orders, apply, and communicate production changes
- Review document changes and identify gaps in current systems and processes; recommend and implement effective solutions by collaborating with crossfunctional teams
- Provide research assistance to nonroutine data entry errors; make recommendations and/or implement improvements to reduce repeats.
- Create routings and bill of materials.
- Schedule, expedite and coordinate the delivery and movement of critical material, including material transfers and inventory control
- Prepare work and production schedules, monitoring the progress of production projects
- Work in collaboration with planning departing, engineering department and manufacturing teams to cost production orders
- Review document changes and identify gaps in current systems and processes; recommend and implement effective solutions by collaborating with crossfunctional teams
- Provide research assistance to nonroutine data entry errors; make recommendations and/or implement improvements to reduce repeats
Skills and Experience:
- Education or equivalent experience in activities related to manufacturing, project management, production planning and/or scheduling
- Able to manage competing demands, deal with frequent changes and effectively prioritize tasks
- Detailoriented; accurately and efficiently manage a high volume of work in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) as well as strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Technical competency and the ability to communicate both technical and nontechnical material to staff and management at all levels of an organization.
- Highly motivated and selfdirected
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft 36
- Demonstrated knowledge of production processes in an ERP system including inventory control, production control and supply chain management
