Our facility is located in South Delta and is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Substitute Early Childhood Educators (ECE) and Early Childhood Education Assistants (ECEA) to join our team.

As a substitute, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and nurturing environment, supporting the growth and development of young children aged 1-5 years.


Please note, we are located in South Delta -Ladner area

Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the implementation of daily programs and activities that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment conducive to learning and exploration.
  • Support children in daily routines including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Follow licensing regulations and adhere to daycare policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with lead educators to ensure the wellbeing and individual needs of each child are met.

Qualifications:


  • For

ECE:
BC Early Childhood Educator license.

  • For

ECEA:
Certificate in Early Childhood Education Assistant (ECEA) or equivalent.

  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Clear criminal record check.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Previous experience working with young children preferred.

Salary:

- $19.00-$23.00 per hour (plus $6/hr ECE Wage Enhancement where applicable)

This is an on-call position with flexible scheduling options.
