    Description of Duties:

    Newsletter is published 4 times a year August, December, March & June.

    Curating content relevant to seniors in the community and featuring engaging stories.

    Working with businesses ensuring articles and adds align with 55+ demographic.

    Ensuring senior friendly tone are vital aspects.

    Skills Required:

    Empathize with needs and interests of 55+ demographic.

    Technology Proficiency, familiar with desktop software Publisher Office, emailing platforms.

    Clear communication skills.

    Awareness of Cultural diversity within the 55+ demographic.

    Highly Organized.

    Skills Gained/Related Careers:

    Understanding of Seniors Perspective of seniors living in the community.

    Community & Cultural Engagement within the 55+ demographic.

    Collaboration and Networking, with different resources to enhance the lives of seniors in the community.

    Personal fulfillment, making connections and relationships with the seniors in our community.

    Age: 18-30, 31-54, 55+

    Time Commitment: Remote Volunteering , Flexible Hours

    The volunteer would be responsible helping 4 times a year when the Newsletter is to be released.

    May work remotely from home or may come into the office.

    Hours are flexible as long as the Newsletter is complete before the deadline.

    Location of volunteer opportunity: Winnipeg
