Monday to Friday; 8:30am-5:00pm

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for collaborating across the organization and with identified external partners for the planning, implementation and management of projects.

Project Coordination Functions
- Lead the planning and implementation of company or department specific projects
- Develop and present project plans
- Use project management software for the management of most projects
- Create the project template
- Work with project team to create initial list of tasks
- Ensure ownership of each task
- Report to and work with the Project and Contract Lead
- Collaborate with staff from all department to implement project plans
- Report and escalate items to management as required
General Operational Functions
- Monitor and implement updates, changes and regulations applicable to the project
- Operate successfully in a fast paced environment handling multiple projects concurrently
- Ensure processes are compliant with all applicable legislation
- Monitor, review and maintain the effectiveness of processes
- Use and continually develop leadership skills
- Attend conferences and training as require to maintain proficiency
- Assist in developing and implementing new service offerings, working in conjunction with appropriate coworkers across the Company
- Ability to track and coordinate multiple projects at the same time
- Work independently and in a team atmosphere
What you need to be successful in the role:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered an asset
- 23 years working experience in participating or leading a project
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel
- Work independently and in a team atmosphere
- Excellent customer service and communication skills while maintaining quality
- Detail oriented and accurate
- Demonstrate and provide flexibility regarding hours of work depending on workload
- Demonstrate excellent critical thinking, decisionmaking and problemsolving skills
- Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment with constantly changing priorities while handling multiple projects concurrently
