Description

CanWest is seeking a new Shop Foreman at our Calgary location. No ticket is required for this position.
As one of Western Canada's leading concrete cutting and coring companies, we can solve any concrete problem.

We provide concrete cutting and coring services for projects of all sizes, from large industrial projects to small residential jobs.

We handle walls, floors, foundations, slabs and curbs. If you are looking for long-term career with the ability to continually develop and learn new skills, training opportunities, development, and career growth then we want to hear from you

Essential responsibilities and job duties to include

Checking engine oil in vehicles and equipment
Servicing fleet vehicles, equipment, and immediate work area
Maintenance of vehicles and equipment
Repairing diesel engines, and various others
Move tools, equipment and materials as required
Welding, electrical, and trailers
Ordering parts and shop supplies

Qualifications and Requirements

NO TICKET REQUIRED for this position but is preferred
Must have experience maintaining diesel engines
Experience with welding and electrical will be preferred
Must be able to work independently
Must have a class 5 license or greater
Must have your own tools
