Summary
Slegg Building Materials is seeking a Full-Time Cycle Counter to join our team. The shifts are Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm. The wage range is $20.50-$23.50 per hour. Our Extended Health & Dental Benefits start after 3 months.

Responsibilities

Perform ongoing, rotating inventory counts of merchandise
Ensure inventory is properly accounted for and controlled
Complete onhand inventory adjustments
Updating inventory reports using Excel
Conduct quarterly inventories
Maintain product displays on selling floor
Update product labels and support price changes
Position will be working inside and outside
Maintain product displays on selling floor

in immediate area

Provide suggestions and recommendations on products and materials
General housekeeping duties and facility maintenance
Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

Broad knowledge of building supplies and home improvement products is an asset
Superior customer service skills
Must be available for quarterly inventory
Knowledge of Excel is an asset
Effective written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and as team
Available to work flexible hours including weekends
Knowledge of basic mathematics
Physical requirements include:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
Standing for long periods of time
