What You'll Do
The MDM Analyst plays a crucial role in Metrie's data management process.

Responsibilities include analyzing and fulfilling master data requests while ensuring strict adherence to Metrie's master data governance and control policies.


Location:

This role can be based out of any Metrie location with flexibility for hybrid work, a mix of offsite and onsite.


Key Accountabilities

  • Provide crossfunctional support and guidance for master data operations and project work.
  • Support project initiatives such as data migrations, software implementations, user acceptance testing, location expansions/moves, new product and/or market introductions, MDM compliance audits and cleanup activities.
  • Analyze stakeholder needs and requirements. Provide solutions that align with Metrie's master data processes, governance, and control policies.
  • Seamless collaboration with project managers, functional stakeholders, business partners, internal customers, and fellow master data team members.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for the MDM solution.
  • Leverage broad scope of influence to advocate for understanding, adoption, and ownership of master data policies and processes

Major Responsibilities

  • Support project initiatives such as data migrations, software implementations, user acceptance testing, location expansions/moves, new product and/or market introductions, MDM compliance audits and cleanup activities.
  • Actively participate in requirements gathering to ensure alignment with key stakeholder needs.
  • Define and document master data requirements and conversion strategy including defining the logic used to convert master data from legacy systems to SAP.
  • Provide operational support to internal stakeholders.
  • Complete operational workflows accurately and within established SLAs.
  • Leverage tools and processes to analyze data quality and identify data compliance concerns.
  • Identify potential gaps in functionality and recommend solutions.
  • Able to balance multiple tasks with competing priorities so that deliverables are achieved with established timelines.
  • Continuously seek new opportunities to improve master data processes.
  • Proficient in analyzing large data sets, writing complex Excel formulas, and crafting advanced queries and reports.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in master data management and/or project management.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4 HANA
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyze complex datasets.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency with demonstrated proficiency with PivotTables, XLOOKUP, Index/Match, and data tables.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
  • Excellent collaboration skills. Proven ability to partner and work effectively with crossfunctional teams and throughout all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey "the why" in addition to "the how".
  • Familiarity with data integration and management tools, databases, and data modeling techniques. Working knowledge of SAP integrated mass load tools/technologies desired.
  • Experience implementing SAP in an acquisition environment a plus.
