Job Description

Key Duties:

Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure they are in proper operating condition
Diagnose defects in heavy duty equipment
Electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting and diagnostics
Accurate completion of work orders and time cards
Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service

Qualifications

Be enrolled in the Alberta HD Apprenticeship Program
Posses a valid drivers license and acceptable driver abstract
Experience with routine maintenance operations
Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
