Description
The data entry clerk / administrative assistant performs a variety of administrative duties in support of managerial and professional employers.
Key Responsabilities:
- Answers phone calls, provide general information to clients and the public, in person or electronic enquiries and/or forward to appropriate department;
- Photocopy and scan documents for distribution, process for mailing and filing, manually or electronically;
- Order office supplies, service office equipment and arrange for servicing in the case of major repairs;
- Assist with other department administrative needs;
- Assisting the Accounts Payable Clerk such as processing vendor invoices into accounting software, reconciling monthly credit card statements to purchases;
- Assisting the Accounts Receivable Clerk such as entering invoice information and processing customer payments;
- Assisting the Payroll Clerk such as sorting, coding and entering timesheets in accounting software;
- Other duties may be assigned within the reasonable scope of work of the position;
Skills / Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration;
- Flexible;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English;
- Great sense of organization and capable of processing high volumes of files;
- Sound prioritizing skills and effective attention to detail is essential;
- Excellent computer skills, knowledge of accounting software's and proficient in Microsoft Suites (Excel and Word);
- Able to work independently and a strong team player;
- Great interpersonal skills;
Working Conditions:
- regular hours consist of day shift work schedule, from Monday to Friday, whereas overtime may be required at times to meet the demands of the position;
- vacation and Statutory Holidays as per policy H.R.M. 02.0
