Position:
Senior Access Transport Planner

Location: 8200 Dixie Rd Dixie Rd., BRAMPTON, ON
**Duration:

Fulltime**
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain short and long range capital budget plans to sustain and grow the access Transport network, in collaboration with Regional Planning teams and business partners
Preliminary design and preparation of capital & operating cost estimates for IP Access Networks to support program rollouts.
Preparation of Engineering planning/design specifications for changes to the IP Access Networks
IP Access network design, optimization, and capacity dimensioning
Issuance of Transport Program Plans to support UAT, Service Expansion, and Wireless programs

Qualifications:

Highly effective individual, adaptive to shifting priorities, strong communication skills
Strong understanding of Transport Networks and well versed on industry standards, vendor roadmaps for next generation networks & products
Strong budgeting and planning abilities.
Experience in planning and designing Optical, Microwave and Fibre Networks is recommended
Experience with advanced analytics in Excel, VBA, SQL, and data visualization is a plus
Experience in deriving and communicating datadriven insights
Education experience should include a postsecondary education, preferably Bachelor of Electrical Computer or Engineering.

Pay:
From $42,422.20 per year
