Summary of role and responsibilities:

As the Finance Manager, you will lead Kindred's daytoday activities (general/operational), including payables and monthend close.
Coordinate and review thirdparty service providers' deliverables.
Review and approve journal entries, payroll, fixed assets, accruals and intercompany.
Review and approve all balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare monthly financial statements providing accurate analysis of the organization's results.
Perform/review routine accounting transactions including AP, AR, GL, and payroll.
Assist in tax preparation
Assist with additional projects as requested

Required skills, education and experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
6+ years of accounting experience
CPA license preferred
Excellent excel skills
Handson experience in a similar size company; "cando" the mechanics of the function
Demonstrated ability to recognize and resolve challenges
An entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in a demanding, fastpaced, crossfunctional work environment with changing priorities and deadlines
Strong analytic, organizational skills, attention to detail
Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to collaborate with peers, members of management and cross functional team
