What you'll do

The Financial Reporting Student for CT REIT will be responsible for the transition of Investor Relation Deck from an Excel/PowerPoint format to Workiva, a cloud-based solution.

In addition, you will assist in converting files to pull financial data from Yardi, ERP. Prepare a reporting package for Legal to assist with their Annual Information Form. Participate in a variety ad hoc projects as required.

Reporting to the Manager, REIT Financial Reporting, you will work closely with the CT REIT Property Accounting, Strategy, Planning & Analytics, and Legal teams to accomplish the following:

Assist with the transition of Investor Relation Deck from an Ex cel/P owerPoint format to Workiva, a cloudbased solution.
Assist with converting files to pull financial data from Yardi, ERP.
Prepare a reporting package for Legal to assist with their Annual Information Form.
Participate in a variety ad hoc projects as required

What you'll bring

You're working towards a postsecondary degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a relevant discipline
Solid understanding of accounting standards and practices under the International Financial Reporting Standards
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general ledger accounting systems
Working knowledge of Yardi, Workiva, PeopleSoft and Hyperion Financial Management considered an asset
Demonstrated interest and/or experience in real estate is considered an asset
