Responsibilities:

Performing all drafting functions, laying out drawings consistent with company standard details and practices.
Create and develop shop drawings for client approval.
Create and develop cut sheets, assembly drawings for the fabrication shop.
Create and develop an installation manual for site installers.
Examine and adhere to architectural drawings and project specifications to determine the project's scope.
Identifying missing information required for scope and creating Requests for Information (RFIs) list.
Produce 2D and 3D representations of building and cladding systems and annotate drawings.
Preparing hardware profile details and material list and others as may be required.
Calculate Bill of Materials needed for the project, including waste percentage.
Assist in other company endeavors as required and support the company's continuous product development.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in external or internal cladding is an asset.
Knowledge of building rainscreen system will be an advantage.
Minimum 3 years experience in construction and manufacturing industry.
At least 3 years of experience in AutoCAD 2D and 3D.
Knowledge and Skills with Revit and creation of families.
Knowledge of Point Cloud and Revit is an asset.
Proficient in Microsoft office especially in Excel.
Experience in materials takeoff.
Critical thinking and problemsolving abilities to develop shop drawings.
Time management skills to complete errorfree work within the required timeframe.
Interpersonal skills to work within a team, taking direction from Project & Design Manager
