The Position:

Based out of Winnipeg MB, the Account Manager will be report to the VP of Sales & Marketing.

Within a defined territory the Account Manager will be responsible for:
Maintaining & growing an existing account base.

Prospecting, securing, maintaining & growing targeted customers.

This will involve identifying new customers & opportunities through product/market analysis & research, networking throughout the industry and through the prospective qualification process of cold calling.

Developing defined sales growth & territory plans that will deliver on corporate goals for growth & profitability

Managing the customer consultative sales process, both internally & externally through to completion.


Securing, managing & communicating to the company customer and market driven forecast data that will assist in improving CTD's overall customer service levels in the wide range of products it supplies.

Developing proposals and preparing quotations for all current and new business opportunities.

Representing the company professionally at all industry events and company sponsored functions

Travel throughout assigned territory - 2 weeks per month i.e.) dependent on seasonal activity

Taking on other responsibilities that may be assigned


Experience:

A minimum of years of experience selling technical products and managing a diverse customer base

A solid track record and demonstrated success in technical sales promoting high value products and services to the OEM & Distribution marketplaces in North America


Demonstrated experience in managing a territory, setting high growth but achievable sales budgets, expense management & control and managing the sales cycle from prospecting, needs analysis, proposal generation & presentation to first order receipt.


Skills:

The ability & skill to develop, maintain & cultivate key customer relationships at all levels within an organization

Strong internal & external communicative & consultative selling skills

Excellent speaking skills, including product & program presentation experience to large and diverse customers and markets

Skilled at assessing customer needs, developing proposals and delivering solutions.

Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills & analysis.

Excellent negotiation and diplomacy skills, with a high degree of integrity.

Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Apps for Work


Education:


Individuals with a University degree or College diploma in other engineering fields or business related programs are also encouraged to apply.
