Position Highlights

Human Resources is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to fill the Manager Organizational Learning role.

You will lead a team of learning and development professionals through managing the implementation and delivery of learning

and development programs.

Reporting to the Director, Organizational Development & Effectiveness, the Manager will be responsible for leading and

developing ICBC's corporate learning curriculum and introducing best practices that align with ICBC's Corporate and People

Strategy objectives.

Highlights

  • Assesses learning and development requirements and opportunities and propose learning plans that drive quality learning and
business outcomes that align to the organization's Corporate and People Strategy objectives.

  • Manages the planning, design and development of learning and development programs and related activities related to ICBC's
development.

  • Designs learning plans that leverage varied learning modalities and tools to achieve optimal learning outcomes.
  • Defines and measure learning outcomes at a tactical and programlevel.
  • Effectively manage corporate learning plan tactics and costs to achieve sustainable learning solutions including the costs of
external contractors.

  • Capable of operating within operational and project contexts and adapting own and team's workstyle to address work needs.
  • Manages the implementation and delivery of learning and development programs.
  • Governs centrally supported learning services through effective relationship building with business leaders and proactive
partnership with other HR teams and business areas.

  • Ensures effective knowledge management of business learning assets including core planning, budgeting and resourcing
processes, business learning curriculum and core design and development tools.

  • Participates in the development and implementation of corporate learning, including development activities, implementation

Position Requirements

Specific to the leadership accountabilities of this role, the Manager, Organizational Learning should demonstrate the capability

  • Support the recruitment and retention of employees and provides inclusive leadership through performance and development

  • Has proven hands on Learning and Development experience and skills in curriculum design, instructional design, and learning
program execution. Ideally having built learning programs from the ground up.

  • Maintain ongoing, wellstructured program and project plans and bring forward clear and concise learning and change
management risks, issues and status reports for review by HR leadership and other organizational leadership teams.

  • Evaluate learning and development support requests and effectively respond through change management team support or
re-directing to alternative organizational channels.
