Skilled/semi-skilled Labourer - Langley, Canada - Creo-Tech Industrial Group

Silhouette Enclosures is a premier industrial contractor specializing in the design, fabrication, assembly, installation and finishing of custom enclosures marketed worldwide.

What you'll do:
- perform cleaning functions throughout the fabrication shop
o perform cleaning on weldments and materials using a grinder
o transport materials using a forklift and/or overhead crane (upon certification)
o load and unload transport vehicles as required
o assist welders, fabricators, shipper/receiver, painters, and finishers as required
o complete basic electrical installations
o sort materials and organize shop and yard
o cut materials to specified dimensions using a band saw
o drill materials to specified dimensions using a drill press
o drywall, insulate, caulk, and rivet
o follow instructions from Supervisor as required
o follow the company safety program rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
o inspect tools and work area for hazards before commencing work
You are:
o experienced in metal fabrication or related industries (preferred)
o capable of doing physical tasks and work (like lifting and moving 50lbs)
o able to work independently and as part of a team
o able to read a tape measure (metric/imperial)
o able to read and interpret blueprints
o experienced with a drill press/mag drill experience (preferred)
o experienced with metal building assembly (preferred)
o familiar with using a forklift and overhead crane (ticket preferred)
o mechanically inclined
o experienced with finishing processes (like drywall, insulation, caulking and riveting - preferred)
o first aid certified (preferred)
o able to work in a fast-paced environment
o able to speak English
o reliable and professional
Shift
Monday-Thursday 6:00 am -4:30 pm
