What is the opportunity?

Are you interested in joining a diverse and collaborative environment where you will have the opportunity to learn continuously and develop professionally? Your primary focus will be to support day to day operations of the Global Research department by working closely with COO and Global Business Manager to build and produce reports, provide cost and revenue analysis, and assist with ad hoc reporting for senior management.

What will you do?

Support and manage strategic initiatives from senior management
Conduct data management, financial tracking and revenue analysis in MS Excel for the Global Research Department
Develop and produce P&L analytics for senior management
Required to liaise with various vendors and internal resources (IT, Marketing, Sales & Trading, Procurement, Market Data, and Compliance)
Produce ad hoc reports for senior management, Research Analysts, and Publishing

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

An undergraduate degree with a focus on Business, or Finance
Advanced expertise in MS Excel; MS Power Point and database management
Ability to effectively communicate with internal partners, clients and vendors in a global environment
Detail oriented with solid analytical skills and ability to synthesize data points and large data sets into trends beyond the mainstream
Experience with database management systems and reporting tools (MS Access and SQL queries) a plus
Energetic, selfmotivated and an ability to perform under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines, sometimes for extended periods of time

Nice-to-have:

Understanding of Capital Market process, products and systems an asset
Background in a Research or Sales/Trading support role also an asset
