OUR CUSTOMERS

We provide services across a wide range of industries including: Public Individuals, Machine Shops, Fabrication Shops, Aircrafts, Schools, Farmers, Government Agencies, Large Corporate Companies, and many more.

THE POSITION
Metal Mart is currently looking to fulfill two full-time positions for shop warehouse help.

Some of the tasks that come along with the positions include:

• Operating of metal saw, shear, and forklift.
• Use of tape measure and verniers.
• Load/unload materials manually or via forklift.
• Package orders into bundles, pallets, or skids.
• Receiving and putting away metal inventory.
• Assessing your workspace and keeping organized.
• Working directly with customers from time to time.
• Answering phone calls when needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory and notify supervisor on any low inventory items.
• Organizing the storefront to help maximize customer experience.
• Follow company safety practices and procedures.
• Perform all other duties, as required, to meet customer and company quality and productivity needs.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We like to let our members take charge Individual awareness and self-drive are important when working in the warehouse.

Below some key skillsets that we like to see:

• A self-driven and well-motivated individual.
• Independent and able to work well with minimum supervision.
• Good time management skills; able to organize and schedule work time efficiently.
• Good communication skills with both team members and customers.
• Comfortable with answering phone calls.
• Detail oriented. Good handeye coordination.
• Capable of meeting deadlines and following procedures, even when under pressure.
• Proficient at following detail, written, and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Strong attendance record.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Capable of being on your feet and moving all day.
• Frequently lifting, bending, and pushing heavy items around the shop.
• Wear a face mask all day (only applicable during indoor mask mandates).
• Manually lifting 50lb or more on your own.
• Wear appropriate steel toes and work pants.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Drivers license (but not a requirement)
• Knowledge and experience working with metal is a plus.
• Capable of all above listed physical requirements.
• Experience in customer service.
• Good communication skills.
• Selfdriven and wellmotivated individual.

SCHEDULE

• 8 Hour shifts.
• Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 5:00PM.
• No weekends.
• Overtime opportunities.

Salary:
$20.00-$24.00 per hour
