COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST


The communications department at Sharp Insurance oversees all internal and external communications, including PR, marketing, social media, and other creative projects.

Sharp Insurance is seeking a detailed-oriented Communications Specialist who is creative, can think outside of the box, and can work under tight deadlines.


LOCATION AND STATUS

  • Calgary, AB
  • Fulltime, permanent

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Developing Social Media Content
  • Social Media engagement, using all platforms
  • Create reports on web and social media analytics
  • Create content strategies that will align with business goals
  • Research and maintain a highlevel of knowledge in digital marking trends

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Postsecondary degree in Communicationsor a related discipline
  • Previous experience with an internal and/or external communications role would be considered an asset
  • Experience with Social Media platforms such as Hootsuite and SproutSocial would be considered an asset
  • Ability to be a good storyteller
  • Strong research and analytical skills
