As an Account Representative at Prophix, you are tasked with starting on your new journey acquiring customers for Prophix within our world class sales team.

As the individual accountable for this critical role, you will be responsible for owning and managing the sales cycle, while learning the art and science of selling in Prophix's fast-paced environment.

You will be tasked to ensure our team helps our prospective customers have a world class experience with Prophix.


What You Will Do

  • Lead generation, prospecting and cold calling to net new business
  • Navigate through various prospecting tools such as, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Generate Qualified Sales Opportunities for the field Sales Reps
  • Run sales campaigns in conjunction with sales management to generate more leads
  • Understand the Corporate Performance Management (CPM) space and talk to prospects intelligently about Prophix's software solutions
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with prospects to gain their trust and respect
  • Occasionally travel to marketing tradeshows

What You Will Bring

Required Qualifications

  • 12 years of proven success using inbound and outbound prospecting as your primary success tools is a strong asset
  • Confidence and ability to interface professionally with a wide spectrum of customers including senior employees and executives
  • Ability to be personable as well as persuasive and to communicate convincingly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled at overcoming objections and as a result able to reach decision makers
  • Enhance your ability to structure verbal and written communications to strongly influence stakeholders in the education and/or purchasing process
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
  • Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located. Must be able to travel to the United States, Canada and/or internationally, and have a valid passport

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Corporate selling (B2B) or high tech solutions is an asset
  • Academic and/or practical knowledge of Accounting and/or Financial concepts (i.e. planning, budgeting, forecasting, or consolidation) is preferred
  • Completion of postsecondary Business or Finance/Accounting Degree is a significant bonus
