The medical receptionist is a dynamic individual that is the first point of contact with patients, always an ambassador of Aesthetix MD and Qualitas Care Clinic, will answer all incoming calls, and deal with specific administrative tasks as directed by the clinic director.


Competencies:

  • Autonomous, ability to multitask, and use initiative.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems (specifically MedAccess for the medical clinic).
  • Proficient usage of Microsoft office suite.
  • Utilize emotional intelligence in handling stressful situations to achieve deescalation and improve patient satisfaction.
  • Perform front desk duties such as answering phones, receiving patients, performing inventory, and other administrative tasks.
  • Solid communication skills (written and verbal communication).
  • Effective multitasking and time management skills.
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Assist medical doctors with procedures as needed.
  • Assist clinic leadership with administrative tasks as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • Completion of high school at the bare minimum.
  • Medical Office Administration (MOA) is an asset.

Salary and benefits:

  • To be determined upon hire based on experience.
  • Parttime hours to start with an evolution into fulltime hours based on volume.
