- Generate, maintain and update all maintenance work requests and work orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Schedule, initiate and develop preventative maintenance and predictive programs
- Develop, review and maintain a variety of materials and data related to infrastructure projects, technical studies, status and condition reports
- Develop and maintain a database of records for inspections and asset inventory
- Assist with Asset Management grant applications, prepare and review tenders, proposals, quotations, project designs and drawings
- Create queries and reports on a wide variety of operational tasks and determine work program priorities
- Perform related work as required
- Graduation from an institute of technology with a diploma in civil and structural technology, building technology or related discipline such as applied science or business administration, including or supplemented by courses in project management, plus sound related experience preferably in a municipal environment, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Considerable knowledge of the methods, practices, materials, tools and equipment used in construction and installation of municipal infrastructure
- Considerable knowledge of asset management operations and systems in a municipal environment
- Ability to review, analyze, assess, and interpret plans, specifications, contracts, and other related materials
- Ability to prepare and maintain complex records, narrative and statistical reports and related correspondence
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and communicate effectively with a wide variety of internal/external contacts

The Township of Langley is currently recruiting for atemporary full-time Infrastructure Asset Technician II (from approx. July 2, June 30, 2025) to join our team of professionals in the Public Works Division, Infrastructure Assets Department. Reporting to the Infrastructure Assets Manager, in this unionized position you will provide moderately complex technical and administrative support to the Public Works Division as it relates to infrastructure asset management.
