The Mortgage Associate works alongside the Senior Mortgage Brokers to gain experience.

Once the associate is fully trained, they then make the transition to a full-fledged broker and are set up to succeed as they grow their own team of associates around them.

This position starts with a salary wage, plus commission on all deals

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Building relationships while remaining professional when dealing with clients and coworkers
• Being comfortable making calls to potential clients
• Identifying the mortgage options that are available to clients
• Understanding and adapting to changes in mortgage options and following up with clients
• Assisting clients with their needs such as debt consolidation, home renovations, mortgage renewals, etc.
• Providing transparent financial advice to clients
• Ensuring any inquiries are dealt with in a timely manner
• Engaging clients to discover their needs and creating unique solutions

Qualifications and Skills:

• Sub-Mortgage Broker license is an asset
• Must be willing to work towards Sub-Mortgage Broker license
• Previous sales experience is an asset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable and motivated to work in a salesdriven environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Flexible, adaptable and keen ability to work with mínimal supervision

Salary:
$45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
