Reporting to the General Manager, the Building Oversite & Cleaning is responsible for after hour emergencies and common space cleaning, as well as providing support to the security team at the building.

Support for security would be in completing building walk arounds as per schedule.

As an employee and representative of Trinity Place Foundation, the Building Oversite is expected to interact with tenants and people of varying backgrounds and perspectives and handle all tasks in a positive and professional manner.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

Be available evenings, weekends, and holidays to complete regular security walks and provide general oversite of the designated building and property.
Complete incident reports for incidents/activities that may take place in the TPFA managed property that are illegal or otherwise against TPFA policies to the General Manager or when required to the Calgary Police Service.
Assist tenants that may lock themselves out of the building.
Deal with building emergencies such as leaks, no heat, appliances not working, and completes building boiler & mechanical room safety and operational checks in the evenings and on weekends.
This position does require shift work which includes evenings and weekends.
Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT:

Physically fit, able to move and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to carry, lift and hold items in different positions for prolonged periods.
Requires standing for prolonged periods.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Must pass a Criminal Record Check and a Vulnerable Sector Check.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This industry requires empathy for and an understanding of the needs of seniors and requires a complete and current (within six months)
