SUMMARY
Transfer both Manual and Automatic Trucks between locations on behalf of Mid-Ontario Truck Centre. A valid license is required to drive Manual trucks

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Ability to operate a manual (standard) Truck:

Perform vehicle inspection prior to vehicle operation to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order and record in the Driver's Daily Log &
Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicle to immediate supervisor
Load, shunt and unload product, packaging, tooling and dies between and outside of Mid-Ontario facilities as scheduled.
Ensure that freight is properly loaded, secured and protected from the outdoor elements
Check all loadrelated documentation to ensure that it is complete, accurate, signed and submitted as required
Maintain a clean, orderly and safe cab and trailer interior and exterior
Present a professional, courteous and respectful manner to all personnel internal and external encountered ;
Comply with requirements as outlined in the OHSA, WHMIS company handbook and all other company issued memos and policies including proper use of appropriate PPE. Follow business code of ethics and communicate to team.

Valid AZ license, with Manual operation
Driver's Abstract must be clean and cannot have more than 3 points

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The noise level in the work environment is minor.
Ability to lift 23 KG (50 Lbs)
