Stuyver's has enjoyed steady growth over the years, and we are expanding our operations with a new highly automated production plant opening soon


We are looking for Production Supervisors with experience working in an automated manufacturing facility to bring their expertise to our new facility and team.


We currently have availability on our morning shift (6:00am - 2:30pm).

Production Supervisor shifts rotate every July (Morning -> Afternoon -> Night shift). The next rotation would take place July 2025.

Job Summary:


The Production Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all production work, as well as leading the production team to achieve quality results that meet or exceed the expectations of our customers.

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • First point of contact for all employees on shift, provides support and leadership to team members on their shift
  • Monitors employee performance and identifies any training needs
  • Develops, monitors, and reports on production metrics to senior management
  • Monitors and enforces compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure there is a smooth operation at all times
  • Ensures that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are in line with company objectives
  • Responds effectively to product quality concerns and implements corrective actions
  • Review the daily production schedule to identify which product(s) will be produced on each line
  • Be a safety superstar
  • Ensure that employees are following proper safety standards as per the Stuyver's Health & Safety Program
  • Monitor employees and ensure they follow all GMP & food safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all employees on shift are working accordingly; punctual and consistent as per their role and assigned duties
  • Continually enforce all policies, procedures and workplace rules to your team members on shift
  • Provide discipline to any employees in noncompliance with rules, regulations, policies and procedures
  • Conduct probationary reviews with employee(s); annual performance reviews
  • Work closely with all other departments when required
  • Confirm that sufficient and correct ingredients and packaging materials are available for each day's scheduled production needs
  • Ensure that all preparation is complete for current and following shift as per production schedule
  • Verify that all production equipment is working properly; address any issues with appropriate department
  • Respond and correct any product issues/concerns in conjunction with QA department
  • Ensure that all work areas are kept clean, organized and free of hazards/clutter
  • Verify and record production numbers at the end of each shift on the daily production report; investigate and explain any variances
  • Confirm that the daily production report is accurate and complete for your shift
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Experience:


  • 2+ years of Supervisory experience in an automated manufacturing/food production environment.
  • Strong organization skills and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow through and resolve outstanding issues on a timely basis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative and encouraging approach with your team.
  • Track record of coaching and mentoring a team to improved performance levels.
  • Selfmotivated; is accountable and takes ownership of the role.
  • Results oriented with a proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Proficient with computer and automated systems.

$70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
