Qualifications:

***Post-graduate qualifications in inclusive education or a related field. PhD preferred.

Substantive experience working or teaching in the K12 education system
An active or developing research agenda in the area of inclusive education
A commitment to service, teamwork, and developing relationships within the faculty, university, and the broader K12 community
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication

Assets:

***Experience in schools providing Inclusive Education and/or Inclusive Education Leadership

Evidence of successful teaching at the postsecondary level
Commitment to addressing current issues such as inclusive education, decolonization, culturally responsive teaching approaches, social justice, diverse/marginalized groups
Knowledge and experience of universal design for learning (UDL), differentiated instruction, and using assistive technology in classrooms
Knowledge of inclusive educational assessment
Knowledge of distance mediated learning
Lived experience of disability, Indigeneity, or other diverse experiences
