BridgeWay Family Centre provides free prenatal services, early learning and family support programs to pregnant women and families/caregivers with children birth - 6 years of age.
We are committed to providing the best support to our clients and sharing in their journey of parenting.We are looking for a dynamic leader to lead the organization as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The CEO's mandate is to provide strategic and operational leadership to the organization, while deepening and expanding relationships with various stakeholders.
We are seeking a seasoned senior level executive from the non-profit sector, who will report to the Board of Directors and will build on our legacy in responding to the needs of families in creative and new ways, while preserving our culture.
With a budget of over $6M and 100 staff, we provide a range of services and support at 40 locations throughout Brampton and Mississauga.
The CEO is instrumental in leading the team that supports the work of the agency to achieve our vision of 'Caring every day, building stronger families'.

Job Duties
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will implement programs and services to achieve the goals of the organization's mission statement, its vision, philosophy, and strategic plan.
The CEO is directly accountable to the Board of Directors for the day-to-day operation and implementation of the strategic plan of the organization.
General:
Under the governance, delegation and authority of the Board of Directors, the CEO is the public face of BridgeWay Family Centre and its chief executive, responsible for all facets of the operation including organizational strategy, policy and program development and delivery, organizational development, government relations, grant acquisition and reporting, outreach and community liaison, management of human, financial and other resources, and advocacy.
- Creates and sustains an accurate positive image of the organization in the communities which we serve and beyond.
- Leverages opportunities as they arise, leading and motivating stakeholders in the
- Ensures that the programs and services delivered reflect current best practice, are
- Builds and sustains an inclusive and equitable working and learning environment for
- Plays a leadership role in the broader community supporting and advocating for
the needs of diverse clients.
- With the support of the management team, participates and provides insight into the
stakeholders.
- Upholds and acts as a role model demonstrating the ethics and goals of the agency
- Ensures the development, management and implementation of the policies and
- Assumes full responsibility for the effective and efficient operation of the organization.
- Is a visionary for the future growth and stability of the organization.
- Acts as a resource to the Board of Directors.
- Maintains strong financial position of the organization.
Functions:
- Acts as an advocate for BridgeWay's Vision and Mission.
- Ensures service delivery and operations meet all legal requirements.
- Provides the Board of Directors with support to make informed decisions.
- Ensures that all policies approved by the Board of Directors, its committees and the CEO
- Ensures that programs and services reflect the mission and philosophy of the
- Ensures ongoing supervision of staff.
- Ensures sound financial principles and procedures are in practice.
- Promotes the organization in the community.
Other Activities:
- Represents the agency in a positive and professional manner at meetings or events.
- Seeks out new partnerships with a wide range of community services and incorporates
