Studio Programs Specialist and Assistant
Are you passionate about art, creativity, and community engagement? We're seeking a dynamic and versatile Studio Assistant to join our pottery painting studio team.
As a Studio Assistant, you'll work closely with the owner to facilitate various aspects of studio operations, event planning, program development, and community outreach.

Event Planning: Coordinate and execute studio events, including workshops, themed nights, and special occasions. Ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer experiences.

Program Development: Develop engaging and educational programs for children, including writing program content, creating activity plans, and organizing materials.

Manual Updates: Maintain and update studio manuals, ensuring all procedures and guidelines are accurate and current.

Community Outreach: Develop and implement outreach art programs for schools and seniors homes, fostering creativity and artistic expression within the community.

Workshop Creation: Design new and exciting workshops for all ages, incorporating innovative techniques and themes to inspire creativity.

Artist Collaboration: Identify and recruit local artists to teach specialized classes and workshops at the studio. Coordinate schedules and manage logistics.

Kids Program Organization: Oversee and organize kids' programs, including scheduling, registration, and supervision during sessions.

Communication: Write and distribute newsletters to studio members, providing updates on events, promotions, and community initiatives. Create eye-catching flyers and brochures to promote studio offerings.

Advertising and Promotion: Assist in advertising studio events through various channels, including social media, local publications, and community boards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event planning, program development, or community outreach preferred.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for art and working with diverse groups of people.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate studio events.
