    The Opportunity

    VoPay is looking for a Manager of People Operations who will create and execute a vision for the People department that aligns with our goals and values. We're a small but growing company, so you'll be hands-on with both strategic development and tactical delivery of enhancements to our corporate talent strategy and for ensuring employee satisfaction. You have extensive knowledge across HR disciplines. You have a proven track record of successes driving positive impact within an organization in the areas of talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compensation structures, benefits administration, change management, safety, etc.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the executive and senior leadership teams to develop and implement cross-functional people strategies aligned with VoPay's vision and objectives;
    • Lead the strategic design and delivery of rewards programs and initiatives, including base compensation, benefits, STIP and LTIP, and other incentives engaging with the external market to evaluate data, trends, and industry best practices to ensure the competitiveness of VoPay's rewards programs;
    • Provide guidance on organizational structure, talent acquisition, retention, and workforce planning;
    • Lead the recruitment process, ensuring the timely and effective sourcing, selection, and onboarding of skilled and passionate individuals, reflecting our entrepreneurial culture;
    • Deliver employee onboarding and offboarding programs, working with department heads and hiring managers;
    • Design and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction;
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development to empower our team members for success. Design and implement professional development initiatives;
    • Develop and manage performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms;
    • Manage internal communication related to people operations, change management, and other sensitive matters;
    • Identify opportunities to continuously improve the overall operations of the People team from a process and technology lens. This can include automation, process/system efficiencies, and knowledge management to elevate the overall employee experience;
    • Be a subject matter expert and owner of HRIS system, including identifying areas of optimization, ensuring department adoption of processes and organization-wide training on the system.;
    • Oversee the deployment of company assets used by employees;
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent; Post-graduate education is an asset;
    • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role;
    • Certification in HR (e.g., CPHR);
    • Proven experience in organizational design, talent needs planning, and talent management;
    • Demonstrated success in driving recruitment strategies and developing internal learning and development programs;
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels;
    • Strong knowledge of current trends and best practices in people operations and human resources;
    • Proven track record of improving employee engagement;
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
    • Professional experience with Asana Project Management software and Microsoft Office Suite; Familiarity with the Google Suite is an advantage;
    • Knowledge of payroll is an advantage.
