About the Role
We are recruiting for a PMO Analyst to join our Strategic Planning & Transformation team.

The PMO Analyst will provide coordination, facilitation and support of IT projects, programs and portfolio management and IT governance activities.

They will be responsible for organizing meetings, documenting decisions, actioning items, and various executive and operational reports for the S&T team.

The PMO Analyst will support the Sr. Manager with administration and maintenance of project intake process, project backlogs and PMO documentation repository.

About Your Day

  • Facilitating and leading formal project intake processes and meetings
  • Monitoring completeness and accuracy of project intake process
  • Reviewing and analyzing governance meeting decisions and actioning items to report to S&T leadership
  • Contribute to improving the best practices of the project management community within S&T office to help drive consistency, transparency, and execution excellence on projects
  • Assisting the Sr. Manager in establishing and operationalizing standard PM processes and tools (RAID Log, Project Plans, Status, Steerco Documentation, etc.)
  • Plans, coordinates and may facilitate project and program meetings.
  • Disseminating meeting actions to responsible parties and tracking items for completion for S&T roadmap discussions.
  • Monitoring and maintaining standard documentation repositories and team collaboration sites (Confluence/Jira)
  • Facilitating continuous improvement meetings to update and maintaining Project and Program Guidelines.
  • Maintaining and updating S&T project delivery playbook to incorporate latest process and procedures
  • Providing training to program/project managers on new/changed project control procedures and tools
  • Preparing program/portfolio executive summary and adhoc reports for management
About You

  • Bachelor's degree plus two years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Project Management or related field.
  • 2 years of work experience in a PMO support or related role
  • Experience supporting IT teams with effective utilization of PM/PPM tools and processes.
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Experience working in a shared project management environment with multiple project managers managing the same project
  • Experience establishing, building, and maintaining collaborative relationships with various stakeholders for the purpose of meeting the corporate and program objectives
  • Formal project management training and/or possessing a PMP, CAPM, CSM, or ACP is an asset
  • Expert with PowerPoint and crafting executive communications/updates
  • Proficiency with productivity tools including the Office365 product suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to use the Atlassian suite (JIRA & Confluence) for task tracking and project documentation is an asset
