A career as an account manager in the commercial subprime loan management sector at National Bank means developing strategies that will have a direct impact on commercial clients.

As a recovery/collections account manager, you will take charge of a portfolio of clients with specific needs depending on their situation.

More specifically, support companies in the restructuring of their operations, find solutions to improve their profitability and support them when required, at the end of the life cycle.


  • Pursue a career in a dynamic team, while evolving in a changing environment. Become a key partner in the risk management of a corporate financing portfolio by implementing recovery strategies to minimize the Bank's losses.
Your main challenges

  • Improve overall credit by providing costeffective credit solutions and derisking
  • Assess risks and irregularities and develop recovery and recovery strategies for defaulting/defaulting loans
  • Coordinate the realization of the various guarantees held in order to minimize the Bank's potential losses
  • Maintain the profitability of accounts by reducing losses on loans and refer files during the liquidation of loans
  • Ensure rigorous monitoring of accounts to maintain portfolio quality
  • Identify potential stakeholders and develop the relationships necessary for loan recovery and recovery
  • Negotiate terms of agreement with various stakeholders

Skills required

  • Bachelor's degree related to the industry and five years of relevant experience OR Master's degree related to the industry and three years of relevant experience OR University certificate
  • Knowledge of insolvency and related negotiation
  • Experience as a Corporate Account Manager or in trade credit risk
  • Mastery of platforms, products, warranties and business processes
  • Bilingualism French/English necessary, because you will regularly deal with partners located across Canada
