Job requirements:

• Responsible for maintaining the landscaping and overall appearance of the property.
• Provide general grounds maintenance including weeding gravel sites, maintaining gardens between sites, garbage control, recycling, clearing road and walkways, lawn cutting, grass edging and snow removal.
• Experience operating landscape maintenance equipment (lawn mowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, etc) and asset.
• Supporting maintenance lead with repair and maintenance of community buildings, equipment, and resort systems (irrigation, water, sewer, electrical etc ).
• Ensuring ongoing communication with Resort Manager and Maintenance Lead.
• Always operate within the applicable Occupational Health & Safety legislation and company policies. Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, including safe use of all equipment, and actively always monitoring for safety concerns around the property.
• Prioritize the guest experience through excellent customer service. Responding quickly and efficiently to guest issues and helping as required.
• Janitorial duties for facilities, including coverage as required for maintenance lead and cleaner.
• Other duties as required.

Education and/or Experience:

• No experience is required, we are willing to train the right person however landscaping or previous maintenance experience is an asset.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience; Clean Driver's Abstract and Clean background/criminal check required.

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 25lbs frequently and up to 50lbs infrequently; ability to work at heights
• Excellent oral & written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and organizational skills

Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

$19.00-$20.00 per hour
