Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and passionate veterinarian to join our team on a temporary basis to cover a maternity leave.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian looking to make a meaningful impact and potentially transition into a full-time role.
As a temporary veterinarian, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills, build relationships with clients and their pets, and contribute to the success of our practice.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional medical care to patients, including conducting examinations, diagnosing illnesses, and performing surgical procedures.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to educate them about their pet's health and answer any questions or concerns.
- Collaborate with our skilled team of veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver seamless care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Ontario.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with proficiency in general medicine and surgery.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for working with animals and their owners.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and client service.

Job Type:
Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay:
$110,000.00-$135,000.00 per year
