Description
We're seeking a full-timeAccounts Receivable Manager, based in our Markham office.
The
Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee credit and collections, reconciliation, and reporting of accounts receivables, following Enghouse policies and procedures, and supervising the A/R team.
This role also includes responsibilities for Cash Applications, account reconciliation, and support in integrating A/R processes from newly acquired companies into Enghouse.
There is potential for this role to expand to oversee global Accounts Receivables.
This is a Hybrid Role - there is an expectation that you attend the office in Markham twice per week.
What you will be doing:
_**- Ensure achievement of aging, DSO, and other relevant targets through regular reviews with A/R staff.
- Handling escalations and working closely with Executive Leadership
- Escalate AR issues to Sales, Operational leaders, and Senior Management with collection efforts details.
- Follow up with customers on late payments once accounts are past 30 days.
- Approve irregular or unusual transactions within defined limits and escalate for approval as needed.
- Supervise, coach, train the A/R team; provide input/feedback, and participate in performance planning/evaluation of A/R staff.
- Coordinate work schedules, account assignments, and task priorities for the A/R team.
- Investigating/verifying validity of account discrepancies
- Oversee and coordinate the daytoday activities of the A/R functions.
- Prepare and Review collection reports to ascertain the status of collections and outstanding balances.

Technical Qualifications:
- Business degree or diploma in accounting
- Advanced computer/Excel skills
- Experience with Withholding Tax and sales/VAT taxes
Professional Qualifications:
- Business Degree/Diploma in Accounting
- 2+ years of managing large Teams, preferably in an Accounts Receivable function
- Experience in developing policies and procedures and training staff members
- Experienced working in a crossfunctional role, specifically with Sales, Operations and Customers
- Experienced working in a multicurrency, multientity consolidated environment, preferably in the software industry
