Job Position:
Logistics Supervisor


Location:
Markham, ON


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the daily processing of parcel returns/shipping
  • Responsible for training and assigning duties to staff
  • Motivate and encourage staff to be proactive, selfgrowth and work effectively
  • Develop, maintain, and manage the smooth operations of the facility process
  • Implement process improvements; make recommendations to management on cost savings and work efficiency
  • Resolve shipment issues; adjust operations when delays or changes occur
  • Ensure ontime shipping performance
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment and overseeing safety compliance
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:


  • Previous supervisory/management experience a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Related industry experience: logistics, shipping center experience preferred
  • Capable of presenting operational data to the management team
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Distribution and Warehouse operations
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
