- Leads the Insurance sales process on lifestyle protection solutions and select permanent insurance opportunities, including providing quotes and illustrations, meeting with clients and advisors, completing required documentation, and ensuring compliance standards are met.
- Builds and maintains relationships with advisors and Client Solutions specialists throughout the region to integrate lifestyle protection solutions into wealth planning effectively.
- Provides back-up support to peers in other regions as needed due to various reasons.
- Drives and supports business development efforts within the region, collaborating with colleagues to increase engagement and awareness of lifestyle protection needs and solutions.
- Champions a customer-focused culture, understands and considers the Bank's risk appetite, and actively ensures efficient operations.
- Life Insurance Licensing (LLQP) is required
- Extensive knowledge of the life insurance industry
- 5+ years of insurance industry experience, including sales
- Desirables: CFP or CLU or willingness to pursue, CSC
- Solid understanding of Scotia Wealth Management businesses and roles
