Process Analyst

This position is hybrid #LI-Hybrid

About the Role

  • Conduct data analysis, provide insights to decision makers and implement business solutions to improve product flow and operational efficiency across the
    LCBO supply chain
  • Develop and maintain databases, complex multivariant statistical data models, promotional forecasting models, ETL processes and supply chain dashboards using SQL Server, Python, R, and Power BI
  • Analyze operational processes and make recommendations to improve performance and reduce cost
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on supply chain productivity and financial results
  • Analyze, interpret, and communicate operational and process analysis information via periodic reporting, ad hoc studies, and presentations
  • Contribute analysis and decision support by process mapping, simulation, benchmarking and score carding
  • Assist in the research, selection, and implementation of new software products, including participating in testing and documentation
  • Travel within the Greater Toronto Area required
About You

  • Postsecondary education in Data Analytics, Statistic, Business Studies, Supply Chain Management (or Industrial Engineering) together with related experience
  • Demonstrated 3+ years of experience in developing multivariant statistical data models, promotional forecasting, data analytics, and automated dynamic dashboards using SQL, SQL Server, SSIS, Python, R, Power BI, Excel, and MS Access
  • Demonstrated and relevant 2+ years of experience in retail supply chain operations, analytics, forecasting and modelling
  • Knowledge of complex value analysis methodologies, financial concepts related to ABC costing analysis, and operational efficiency measurement techniques
  • Demonstrated medium/large project management experience
  • Expert knowledge and experience using MS Office particularly Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Power BI
  • Must be highly collaborative and able to work within team dynamics
  • Highly effective communications skills both verbal and written
