The Robert Gillespie Academic Skills Centre (RGASC) at the University of Toronto Mississauga is seeking a Senior Educational Developer & Team Lead to promote a scholarly approach to teaching.This role will direct activities of educational developers team providing expertise recommendations on projects timelines deliverables workflows etc working closely senior university administrators academic departments build capacity collaboration enhance pedagogical practices facilitate workshops communities practice meet individually instructors advise strategies developing delivering curriculum make recommendations best practices related teaching learning have good understanding pedagogical literature application theory communicate effectively faculty graduate students support staff university administrators passion supporting diverse backgrounds sensitive professional development challenges needs educators career stages strong consultative decision-making skills demonstrated through approachability supportiveness equitable interactions faculty staff graduate postdoctoral scholars exceptional organizational skills ability successfully meet deadlines proven project management abilities adaptability commitment building strong community relationships capable working independently collaboratively diverse inclusive environment strong computer functionality Microsoft Office applications passion supporting instructors diverse backgrounds humanities social sciences science management disciplines sensitivity professional development challenges needs educators career stages levels experience evidence commitment equity diversity inclusion promotion respectful collegial learning working environment
