Job Description:


Reporting to the Director, Systems, Analytics, & Expense Operations within the Corporate Services (CS) organization, the Manager, Systems and Analytics will be responsible for leading project implementation and post go live steady state for
assigned CS system projects.

This position also encompasses operational tool management, development of end user communication & troubleshooting activities in addition to assisting with business analysis, system reporting, and strategic process improvement.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads the team responsible for defining project charters, goals, tasks, and overall scope for targeted CS Systems (i

e:

Systems, Service Now, Workday, etc.)

  • Leads the creation of a CS systems work plans in partnership with Technology and Data (T&D), identifies end user requirements, operational requirements, system requirements and reporting requirements, and works across various stakeholders to sequence the activities needed to meet the collective objectives. This includes necessary system upgrades, regression testing, objective & key results planning/tracking, user acceptance testing and change management.
  • Represents CS within relevant T&D project work plans, tasks, timelines, milestones, and deadlines and oversees delivery of tasks by specified leads, as well as ensuring completion of tasks for which there are no leads.
  • Develops CS end user communication on behalf of CS and in partnership with T&D & Public Affairs & Communications (PAC)
  • Together with the collective CS organization, enables the operational management and subsequent reporting of all CS systems and processes while also looking for opportunities to further enable end user selfservice, improve automation, limit carbon generation, and reduce task touch time thus enabling efficiency and maximum system utilization. i

Systems encompass Lease Management, Operational Maintenance, Housekeeping, MAC (Moves, Adds or Changes), Storage, Seasonal CS needs, etc.

  • Ensures the team follows defined methods and procedures to record, monitor and report CS systems deployment progress, and once systems deployed report system uptime, assigned cost to serve impacts, SLO performance and/or operational related issues.
  • Works in partnership across Systems and Analytics as well as the broader CS organization in support of a CS cost to serve model where service utilization, and relevant costs can be quantified and reported vis existing systems and/or through traditional methods to the CS Global Leadership Team-Managing Director enabling Senior Management Team level reporting, budgeting, and cost management.
  • As part of the CS systems and operational framework, supports CPP Investments' journey to carbon neutrality through operational reduction of carbon generating activities where applicable and supports the development of CS operations carbon impact reporting where available.
  • Supports the broader CS team with operational processes and reporting, business analysis, systems reporting, sustainability reporting and cost management strategies including monthly dashboard and metrics reporting.

Qualifications:


  • A university degree or college diploma in IT, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or related field
  • PMP designation
