Description

Looking for a highly motivated individual to join our supportive team at MAC Group of Companies as a full-time Maintenance Worker.

Founded over 60 years ago, the London, ON-based MAC Group of Companies is comprised of 5 major operating companies:

Responsibilities:

Work in a mediumsized warehouse, warehouse yard, and connected office facilities.
Clean the warehouse daily by sweeping, dusting, and collecting debris.
Sorting through yard scrap for reusable/recyclable materials.
Assist with installation of equipment or appliances.
Collaborate with the Safety Officer to identify the need for major repairs.
Assist the Administration department in scheduling maintenance, and guide technicians.
Assist with installation of equipment or appliances.
Transporting office supplies upstairs/downstairs.
Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role is an asset, but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Forklift certification is an asset, and we will provide training if necessary.

Knowledge and Skills:

Good written and verbal communication, and basic math skills.
Aility to work in a fastpaced environment.
Excellent time management skills, organization, and strong attention to detail.
