PRIMARY FOCUS:
The General Labourer (Forklift Operator) will be on the first shift (morning shift) and will be a temporary role. This position reports to the Director of Capital Assets and will be based in the Nisku facility.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assembling, disassembling, and cleaning of equipment as required.
- Cleaning and stacking of bins in a safe and timely manner.
- Ensure fast and accurate loading or offloading of trucks.
- Maintain all working areas by keeping all areas clean and organized while working; completing waste management requests and ensuring floors are clear of all debris
- Conform and adhere to all established company policies and procedures and government legislation pertaining to occupational health and safety.
- Repacking product and stacking packed product.
- Able to operate manual pallet jack to move finished pallets.
- Other duties as assigned by supervision
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic English language skills to read, understand and follow instructions, and adhere to rules and regulations.
- Forklift ticket and experience required
- Pallet jack experience preferred
- Be physically fit to lift up to 50lbs of goods repeatedly.
- Can work under mínimal supervision and in a team setting.
- Flexibility on job duties as required.
