PRIMARY FOCUS:

The General Labourer (Forklift Operator) will be on the first shift (morning shift) and will be a temporary role. This position reports to the Director of Capital Assets and will be based in the Nisku facility.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assembling, disassembling, and cleaning of equipment as required.
Cleaning and stacking of bins in a safe and timely manner.
Ensure fast and accurate loading or offloading of trucks.
Maintain all working areas by keeping all areas clean and organized while working; completing waste management requests and ensuring floors are clear of all debris
Conform and adhere to all established company policies and procedures and government legislation pertaining to occupational health and safety.
Repacking product and stacking packed product.
Able to operate manual pallet jack to move finished pallets.
Other duties as assigned by supervision

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic English language skills to read, understand and follow instructions, and adhere to rules and regulations.
Forklift ticket and experience required
Pallet jack experience preferred
Be physically fit to lift up to 50lbs of goods repeatedly.
Can work under mínimal supervision and in a team setting.
Flexibility on job duties as required.
