Job Title:
Machinist - Surface Grinding

Summary
Moeller Precision Tool is actively seeking a skilled machinist who is proficient in surface grinders. As a Machinist, you'll be a crucial part of our team, responsible for machining steel parts used in production.

Your expertise will primarily involve working with Manual surface Grinders, but you'll also have the opportunity to work with CNC Grinders, Lathes, EDM Wire, and other equipment.

In this skilled role, you'll contribute across various departments daily.

Your responsibilities will include:

Study blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine production methods.
Set up and operate machines as needed, ensuring they meet specifications.
Perform inspections on manufactured parts to maintain quality standards.
You will ensure precision and quality in steel part production using grinding techniques.
Always maintain a clean working area.
Must follow all safety protocols. Safety boots and safety glasses always.

Requirements:

Expertise with Surface Grinder. Accumulation of 3+ years' experience in surface grinding setup and operating.
Competency with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other inspection gauges.
Proficiency in reading blueprints.
Highly motivated, detailoriented, serviceoriented, with strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
Able to work 810 hours a day while standing.
Secondary School. Basic math, geometry, and trigonometry skills

Valued but Not Essential: Own a locking toolbox with basic hand tools to start.

Schedule:

Day Shift with Overtime.
A normal work week is about 50 hours per week.
Saturday as needed.
Exact schedule to be discussed.

Compensation:

$ $30/hour, determined based on qualifications and relevant expertise.
