This position can be based in Toronto, Windsor or Sudbury.

Your role


Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager for the Ottawa-Gatineau & Ontario region, you coordinate marketing communications projects, taking a digital-first approach in accordance with strategies developed by Regional Communications, as well as with corporate standards and policies.


Description of duties:


  • Act as a 360degree consultant on marketing communications strategies for all projects (digital products, programs, newsroom features), employing a digitalfirst approach.
  • Develop strategies and create concepts and approaches for crossplatform content, public relations, promotions, advertising, onair promos and event activations, generating ideas for, conceiving and producing supporting audio, video, digital and print material.
  • Review the various performance indicators, interpret results, draft reports, and recommend actions to achieve objectives.
  • Assume responsibility for all aspects of communications within a project cycle and find solutions to problems and limitations, be they technical or operational in nature.
  • Coordinate resources and activities for digital marketing communications projects, and set up, support and mobilize teams for projects.
  • Manage budgets related to your activities.
  • Think up publicity concepts, assist in producing audiovisual material for publicity campaigns, and supervise digital and print production, depending on the chosen concept.
  • Create and organize Radio-Canada events in Toronto, Sudbury, Windsor, Ottawa-Gatineau and the rest of the Ontario region.
  • Develop and manage content and campaigns on digital media.
  • Negotiate, develop and implement partnership agreements. Provide strategic support for the ideation, organization, promotion and creation of material as part of negotiated partnership agreements.
  • Create and implement field activations.
  • Draft and follow up on digital, print and TV creative briefs related to partnerships.
  • Capture the state of play, implement the crosspromotion strategy, and follow up with teams.
This is a hybrid position.

  • University degree in a relevant field
  • Four (4) or more years' experience in marketing and communications
  • Proficiency with Google Suite apps
  • Knowledge of digital media
  • Ability to be thorough
  • Passion for organization and coordination
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Indepth knowledge of project lifecycle methodologies an asset
  • Ability and willingness to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment and on a flexible schedule as needed
  • Creative mind
  • Superior Frenchlanguage skills, spoken and written
  • Bilingualism is an asset
