A career as a Data Scientist with Employee Experience means developing and training greatly diverse predictive and prescriptive models for such purposes as identifying factors that foster employee wellbeing, creating elements to help make the flexible work model successful as well as organizational structures that encourage optimal collaboration and innovation.


Your role:


  • Propose and develop detection, prediction and prescription models using all employee data
  • Understand business issues, identify partners' needs and propose innovative strategies to support the completion of their mandates
  • Communicate and put in clear layperson's terms the results of analytical projects and participate in turning them into recommendations for concrete actions
  • Process complex data in structured and unstructured environments that address specific employee initiatives and help to understand and influence organizational behaviour at the Bank
  • Execute and coordinate analytical exercises including cleanup, transformation, classification, visualization and support of consumers in the interpretation of the results

Competencies required:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years of relevant experience OR master's degree in a related field (data science, statistics, information technology, economics, math) and 1 year of relevant experience
  • Indepth knowledge of advanced statistical methods for hypothesis testing including but not limited to linear and logistic regressions, decision trees, SVM, Kmeans classification, random forests, dimensionality reduction methods, chronological series
  • Command of Python and the main analytical libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Scipy etc. (or R and equivalent libraries)
  • Ability to validate performances and monitor the limits of statistical methods
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain concepts in plain language
  • Skills creating presentations and with presentation design (PowerPoint) & storytelling
  • Good business intuition and initiative
  • Solid knowledge of French (written/spoken)

Preferred competencies:


  • Knowledge of advanced digital libraries such as: Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib, XgBoost, Statsmodels, Tidyverse and Shiny
  • Solid knowledge of best ML Ops practices and data model governance principles (explainability, monitoring, data security and documentation)
  • Knowledge of Snowflake, GitHub, Apache Spark (Pyspark) or Databricks
  • Agile delivery experience
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Work experience with unstructured data and knowledge of text mining methods
  • Command of data visualization software programs (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Knowledge of Azure and/or AWS
