    Description

    Job Title: Part-time Merchandiser/Display Specialist - Drummondville, QC J2C 7V4

    About the Company: Our company is currently seeking a Part-time Merchandiser who will be responsible for maintaining Hallmark Canada shelves in pharmacies, grocery stores, or large retail stores. Working closely with the Territory Manager, the Merchandiser plays a key role in the merchandising team on the field.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide support for maintenance, inventory management, and merchandising activities in one or multiple assigned retail stores. This includes handling products for all occasions and seasons, as well as product replacements.
    • Ensure scheduled maintenance visits each week and adhere to planned budgets, remaining flexible from week to week based on retail store requests. Availability the week before and after each major seasonal holiday is crucial.
    • Adhere to merchandising plan instructions, productivity standards, and provided schedules. Pay close attention to details to follow instructions, be efficient and productive, and provide feedback to the Territory Manager. Demonstrate flexibility to solve unexpected problems that may arise in-store and impact the initial plan.
    • Offer additional assistance to fill in vacant positions during leaves and peak seasonal periods.
    • Provide extra help during shelf reviews, product relocations, store relocations, and installations in new stores.

    Communication Skills:

    • Regularly communicate, planned or unplanned, with the Territory Manager to stay informed about upcoming store programs and activities.
    • Collaborate with the account manager, representing Hallmark, regarding scheduled maintenance visits, and establish and maintain professional relationships with account managers.
    • Communicate clearly with the Territory Manager, ensuring that product service and merchandising meet or exceed retail store standards.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • High school diploma required.
    • Retail experience is an asset.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
    • Good knowledge of smartphones and able to manage an email account.
