About the Role


In this new role, the
Project Lead will be based out of our Vancouver Office and will be responsible for designing building electrical systems for diverse facilities that may include tenant improvements, base-building upgrades, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, solar photovoltaic, and new construction projects.

You will work on diverse projects with the support of a collaborative team of code, power, lighting, ICT, BIM, CAD, policy, and decarbonization specialists.


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Report to Project Managers
  • With work mínimal supervision to develop feasibility studies, reports, and construction document packages
  • Perform site visits (observation), may require travel to remote areas
  • Preparing electrical design markups for the drafting department
  • Research to source equipment for contract documents
  • Oversee construction and completion process.
  • Coordinate with Architects, Code, Interior Designers, Mechanical, Structural, Building Science, Acoustic, Utilities, AHJ, and other professionals.
  • Other duties assigned as necessary.

Our Must Haves:


  • P.Eng./P.L.Eng./EIT, registered with EGBC or be eligible
  • Experience in the construction industry, with electrical projects
  • Familiarity with AGi32, DIALux, Revit, and/or ETAP
  • LEED, RCDD, WELL AP certification (preferred)
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, and various other construction documentation
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian, provincial, and municipal codes, standards, and bylaws ( CEC, ASHRAE, VBBL, BCBC, NECB, etc.)
  • Excellent with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to quickly absorb and use companyspecific techniques, standards and procedures
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with clients and other disciplines ( Architectural, Mechanical, interior designers, etc.)
  • Detailoriented with excellent grammar and punctuation skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Strong work ethic and selfdiscipline
  • Organized and able to prioritize various tasks and have flexible approach to assignments
  • Willingness to meet quick deadlines and handle multiple projects in a fastpaced environment
