The person we are seeking for is a passionate and experienced software engineer who can work with us to combine the cutting-edge techniques and bring the AutoCAD user experience to next level on mobile Platform.

We expect the candidate to have deep knowledge of iOS and Android platform, be mindful of the impact to AutoCAD Mobile customers when developing the product and can work with cross functional and platform teams to deliver high quality product on schedule.

Provide technical leadership within the organization by creating and reviewing high-quality architecture designs, providing technical solutions and leading technical discussions.

Work closely with product managers, user experience designers, tech leads, etc. to translate business needs and assess opportunities by evaluating technical feasibility and translate it to well-documented engineering solutions
Provide strategic advice to leadership team for the technical direction of AutoCAD mobile products
Take an active part in the global architect forum by representing Vancouver site, leading cross org initiative and communicating decisions and action-items to the relevant people
Ensure the solution implementations achieve the desired quality attributes, such as performance and optimization, scalability, extensibility, security, and resiliency
Be a role model for applying software development best practices
Escort the dev teams during implementation. Providing support and help as needed
Mentor the tech leads and senior developers
S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
~10+ years hands-on experience with iOS and Android or relevant software development technologies and frameworks
~ Broad knowledge and proven experience in software architecture
~ Experience of designing and implementing complex cross-platform software architecture
~ A deep familiarity with Objective-C, Swift, Java and Kotlin
~ Familiarity with CAD software (Architectural, Mechanical, or Civil design)
Software development experience in a web environment
Experience building Android apps
