We are seeking an experienced OTT Platform Developer to support the ongoing development optimisation and maintenance of a proprietary Xtream-Codes–based OTT platformResponsibilities
- Ongoing development and maintenance of an OTT platform based on Xtream-Codes architecture
- Implementation optimisation and troubleshooting of streaming workflows using HLS MPEG-TS DASH Development and maintenance of backend systems using PHP modern standards best practices Design optimisation management advanced MySQL databases including performance tuning complex queries Integration enforcement licensing copyright protection DRM mechanisms Monitoring debugging improving streaming reliability latency scalability Working within a Linux Ubuntu environment for development deployment server management Collaborating infrastructure operations teams ensure high availability security Supporting rolling updates feature releases platform enhancements live environment Required Skills Experience Proven experience developing maintaining OTT platforms Xtream-Codes similar Strong understanding streaming protocols HLS MPEG-TS DASH PHP development expertise up-to-date knowledge modern versions frameworks security best practices Advanced MySQL skills indexing strategies query optimisation large dataset handling Experience licensing systems DRM enforcement digital content protection Strong problem-solving skills ability work live high-traffic systems Desirable Basic C/C++ knowledge particularly streaming performance-critical components Experience working within Ubuntu/Linux server environment Familiarity FFmpeg transcoding pipelines media processing workflows Experience large-scale streaming infrastructures load balancing Role Type Rolling ongoing development role Long-term collaboration continuous feature development platform evolution Contract duration months Mandatory skills: PHP MySQL NGINX Web Development Linux
